Position: Digital Marketing Specialist (Full Time or Part Time)

In this technical marketing position, the Digital Marketing Specialist (DMS) will be responsible for a variety of marketing activities, initiatives and projects, both for our own marketing and for our clients. These will include:

Work related to existing and new client accounts

Create, manage Google ads campaigns

Assist in development of a variety of marketing content and resources
-
Assist in creation of a range of client marketing content on variety of business topics
-
Content distribution on websites, blogs, online properties and social media
-
Website design and editing/updating of website content
-
Developing and managing performance analytics reports

The DMS will be exposed to a full range of work we perform. This is an opportunity to join a growing strategy and digital marketing firm and learn from experienced consultants. This is a demanding, fast-paced position where success is judged strictly by performance and the quality of your work. This position has less client engagement than the Account Manager role.
There is a lot of creative work involved and deadlines must be met. We adhere to the highest codes of transparency, ethics and integrity.

Technical Marketing Skills:
​
These skills are not necessarily required to be considered for position; however, the development of proficient capabilities will be essential for continued success in this position. On the job training and support will be provided in these areas:

Google Advertising: Set up new Google Ad campaigns, analyze results, identify/implement ad campaign edits/improvements

Email marketing platforms (e.g. Constant Contact, MailChimp)
-
Website/blog platforms, including WordPress and Wix
-
Working knowledge (use and building) social media tools (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.) and social dashboards (Hootsuite, PromoRepublic)

Google Analytics usage, performance analysis/interpretation, reports
-
Search engine optimization (SEO) skills and tools
-
Basic HTML experience or knowledge

Miscellaneous web-based tools, e.g. landing pages, file sharing, online calendars, etc.

What you know:

College Degree desired but not required, in related field (e.g. marketing, business, communications, entrepreneurial studies. Liberal arts degrees acceptable)

Desire to learn and build knowledge of marketing strategy and marketing technology
-
Desire, and capability, to learn about businesses in range of industries

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
-
Detail oriented
-
Critical thinking skills
-
Ability to think and work independently with a self-starter mentality

Proficient with Microsoft suite of products.

Compensation:
This is a position which will start at a salary level, based on your skills and qualifications. Your compensation will be based purely on performance. The better you perform in your job and the more you contribute to the success of our company, the more you will earn.
